Ernesto's journey into the world of finance began in 1999, shortly after his tenure in the U.S. Navy. With a client-centered approach, he has dedicated his career to managing and protecting the wealth of individuals, businesses, and non-profit organizations. Ernesto is a proud alumnus of Lynn University, where he earned an MBA specializing in Financial Valuation & Investment Management. In 2003, he established Keaney Financial Services Corp.
In 2011, Emmelis Keaney became a pivotal part of the company. As the Executive Vice President and an Investment Advisor Representative at Ameritas Advisory Services. Emmelis brings a robust educational background with a Master of Science in Finance from Florida International University and a Bachelor's in Communications with a focus on Investigative Journalism from the University of Puerto Rico.
Together, Ernesto and Emmelis share a philosophy that wealth preservation is just as crucial as wealth creation. They emphasize that traditional market investments are not the sole path to financial growth, advocating for a diversified approach to building wealth. The Keaney's strive to cultivate deep relationships with their clients, preferring to collaborate with those who value risk management highly. Ernesto Keaney CRPS®, RFC® - Chairman & CEO

Ernesto Keaney embarked on his finance career in 1999, transitioning from his service in the U.S. Navy. Adopting a client-centric philosophy, he has since focused on managing the risk and assets of individuals, businesses, and non-profits. A proud graduate of Lynn University, Ernesto earned an MBA with a specialization in Financial Valuation & Investment Management. In 2003, he founded Keaney Financial Services Corp.
Ernesto believes that preserving wealth is as imperative as creating it. He advises against relying solely on traditional market investments for financial growth, advocating for a diversified strategy to accumulate wealth instead. Ernesto aims to forge profound connections with his clients, preferring partnerships with those who equally prioritize risk management. This selective approach ensures his services are best suited for clients who value strong risk management in their financial planning.

Emmelis Keaney MSF, RFC® - Executive VP 

Emmelis Keaney is currently the Executive Vice President of Keaney Financial Services Corp., a firm focused on delivering individual and business investment planning solutions, group benefits and insurance planning. She’s an Investment Advisor Representative with Ameritas Advisory Services, who obtained her Master of Science in Finance from Florida International University, and a Bachelor’s in Communications with a focus on Investigative Journalism from the University of Puerto Rico. In 2023 she was elected to Chair the Diversity & Inclusion committee for the Field Advisory Cabinet at Ameritas, a mutual holding insurance company based in Nebraska. She’s currently an adjunct Professor of Business at Indian River State College and over the past 12 years, she’s been a Board Member, active donor and advocate for human services provider organizations such as SafeSpace, Inc (helping survivors of Domestic Abuse) and Place of Hope (serving neglected children and victims of Human Trafficking). Most importantly, she’s a wife and the proud mother of Niner, a 16-year-old Chihuahua.

Dorian Keaney - Group Benefits Division Manager

Dorian Keaney serves as Keaney Financial Services Corp. Manager of Group Benefits Division, working directly with business owners and Human Resources departments in developing suitable group benefits solutions for their organizations. As a survivor of a tragic car accident, Dorian has made it his mission to educate people on the importance of providing appropriate medical coverage and other ancillary benefits that employers and employees alike often dismiss as unimportant. He’s a financial representative with Ameritas Investment Company, LLC and has been an active member of the Ameritas Growth Leaders committee, where he has shared his knowledge and experience in working with businesses to other financial professionals. Most importantly, he’s a husband and the proud father of a 4- and 6-year-old.

Joseph R. Winter III CRPC® - Senior Benefits Division Manager

Joseph Winter has built a distinguished career in the financial services industry, specializing for over 13 years in addressing the unique insurance needs of pre-retirees, retirees, and seniors aged 65 and older. Joseph has completed the requirements and earned his CRPC®, Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor SM  designation from The College For Financial Planning.

Married to Stephanie Winter, Joseph's personal life is enriched by his cherished dogs, who are like children to him. Professionally, he serves as a financial representative at Ameritas Investment Company, LLC.
Joseph also leads the Senior Benefits Division at Keaney Financial Services Corp., where he guides clients through the intricacies of Medicare and Social Security benefits. His work focuses on helping seniors manage and understand the evolving landscape of their insurance options each year.
His array of services tailored for retirees includes Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans, dental, life, and cancer insurance, burial insurance, and fixed annuity insurance contracts, such as MYGAs and Fixed Index Annuities. Joseph's strategic approach and personalized service ensure that seniors receive comprehensive, empathetic support tailored to their financial and healthcare needs, establishing him as a trusted advisor in the financial planning community.

John A. Guntkowski CRPC<strong>&#174;&#160;</strong>-&#160;<span>Business Communications Manager</span>

John A. Guntkowski CRPC® Business Communications Manager

John Guntkowski has distinguished himself over a formidable 30-year career in the financial services industry. A Vietnam War veteran, his disciplined approach and strategic acumen have been honed through both military and corporate experiences. Until 2022, he served as an investment advisor representative with Ameritas, demonstrating his expertise in navigating complex financial landscapes. John has completed the requirements and earned his CRPC®, Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor SM  designation from The College For Financial Planning.

Currently, he holds a pivotal role as the Business Communications Manager at Keaney Financial Services Corporation, where he has also taken on responsibilities within the group benefits division. In this capacity, John significantly enhances business client services and plays a crucial role in refining client interactions and relationships.

His experience extends to managing group benefits packages, which include group health, dental, life, and disability insurances, alongside fixed annuity insurance contracts. John's comprehensive approach ensures that client organizations receive tailored, strategic benefits solutions that align with their needs and objectives, cementing his status as a cornerstone in his field.
